The Science Museum Oklahoma has many exhibits for families to explore. The Museum boasts one of the nation’s tallest spiral slides and one of the largest trees in North America at GadgetTrees. A two-story tree house and other backyard staples demonstrate simple machines at play. Kidspace is just the place to recharge. Parents can choose from facepainting, puppets, blocks, and other age-appropriate play areas for babies and toddlers while big brothers and sisters can head over to the bubble station to forge a water war and build a dam in the currents. Brain teaser displays are all at kid-level for interactive play. Nursing moms will appreciate the nursing room with its smaller (quiet!) play area, changing stations, and built-in monitor screens that make it easy to keep an eye on big kids playing. Other exhibits include, Who Dun It, Explorazone, Destination Space, Tinkering Garage, Gymnastics, Aviation, Trains, and Mind Games.
Science Museum Oklahoma also has a plantetarium, dome theater, and live science demonstrations. This is the perfect place for families and children to explore, play, and have a hands-on learning experience at the same time.
Cloth Diaper Oklahoma would like to thank Science Museum Oklahoma for its support of the Great Cloth Diaper Change to be held April 23, 2011 from 10-12 at Science Museum Oklahoma.
